Cookie Policy

1. What cookies are
Cookies are small text files stored by a website on your device. Similar browser storage can remember a preference without using a traditional cookie. Some technologies are necessary for a requested service; others require your choice.
2. Strictly necessary technologies
MIKRO Quotes uses a secure session cookie to keep users signed in, an XSRF token to prevent forged requests, and—if selected—a remember-login cookie. These are required for security or functionality and cannot be switched off through our consent panel. Blocking them in your browser may prevent login or form submission.
3. Optional analytics
When configured, we use Plausible to understand aggregate page usage. Its script is not loaded until you select “Accept analytics”. We do not activate advertising or cross-site tracking cookies. Rejecting analytics does not reduce access to the service.
4. Preference storage
Your analytics choice is stored in your browser under “mikro_cookie_consent_v1”, with the choice, policy version and date. This local-storage item exists only to remember whether you accepted or rejected the optional category. You can clear it through browser settings.
5. Payment provider
If you continue to Stripe Checkout or its billing portal, Stripe may use cookies on its own domain for fraud prevention, security and payment processing. Stripe is responsible for explaining those technologies on its service.
6. Change or withdraw your choice
You can reopen the consent panel at any time using “Cookie settings” in the footer. Rejecting there prevents analytics from loading on future page views. You may also delete existing site data in your browser.
7. Contact
Questions about cookies or privacy can be sent to privacy@mikroquotes.com.
